Sinus rinse hypertonic refills are premixed sachets of USP grade sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate. When used with our 240 ml sinus rinse bottle it creates a hypertonic (higher concentration) solution. The higher concentration of salt reduces the swelling and aids in drawing fluid and excess mucus out of the nasal passages. Nasal irrigation is an excellent way to cleanse mucus from the nose making medications more effective. They also clean allergens, irritants, bacteria and viruses from the nose reducing the frequency of infection.
