Product Description

Folic Acid contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, and increases maternal folate status. Low maternal folate status is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. The UK Department of Health recommends that all women planning a pregnancy should supplement with 400μg Folic Acid daily when trying to conceive and for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. • Folic Acid has a role in the process of cell division, and also contributes to: - The normal function of the immune system - Normal amino acid synthesis - Normal blood formation - Normal psychological function - Reduction of tiredness & fatigue

Indications

High doses of folic acid may result in decreased serum levels of certain anticonvulsant drugs.

Ingredients

Di-Calcium Phosphate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Anticaking Agents (Vegetable Source Magnesium Stearate, Silicon Dioxide), Folic Acid.

Directions
